江西省高等学校骨干教师,南昌大学《物理化学》精品课程负责人。先后主持一项江西省教育厅教改项目和一项江西省学位办研究生教改项目。本科《物理化学》主讲教师,硕士研究生《多相催化剂设计》和《表面化学与催化剂设计》主讲教师,博士研究生《催化剂制备和表征》主讲教师。

主要从事纳米催化材料制备与设计,多相催化过程。研究方向:稀土催化材料,光催化材料,量子化学计算。
