承担了《分析化学》、《仪器分析》、《分析化学实验》等本科生课程以及《高等分析化学》、《药物分析化学》等研究生课程的教学工作,引导本科生科研训练和毕业论文,取得良好教学效果。引导的多名本科生获得国家级大学生创新创业训练计划项目,引导的多篇研究生学位论文被评为江西省优秀硕士学位论文

目前,主持国家自然科学基金面上项目2项、江西省主要学科学术和技术带头人资助计划以及江西省高等学校科技落地计划等项目的研究,已主持完成国家自然科学基金3项、教育部新世纪优秀人才支撑计划、江西省青年科学家培养对象计划以及江西省自然科学基金等项目的研究。担任多种国际著名期刊审稿人、教育部学位与研究生教育发展中心学位论文评议专家、中国化学会会员。主要研究方向为功能纳米材料、仿生分子识别以及电化学发光分析,在稀土配位聚合物的设计合成及生物识别、金属纳米簇制备及电致化学发光应用、多种标志物同时识别检测技术、功能化石墨烯生物传感界面的构建及其农药残留检测应用等方面取得一系列研究进展。在Chemistry-A European Journal, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Communications, Journal of Materials Chemistry, Biosensors & Bioelectronics, Journal of Chromatography A等国际刊物上发表SCI收录学术论文130余篇,他引3200余次,H指数为35,获得2011益海嘉里青年教师奖,授权发明专利13项。
